Crusaders beat Predators 35-8

Fond du Lac, WI - The Fond du Lac Crusaders hosted the West Allis Predators this past Saturday night at Art Humphrey Field in North Fond du Lac. The Crusaders dominated the Predators, winning 35 to 8.

The Crusaders "Dark Side" defense took over the Predators early and often by controlling the passing game with 6 INT's and 7 passes defended. Cornerback Kemp Freeman had a outstanding night with 3 solo tackles 2 passes defended 4 INTs with 123 return yards, two of then going the distance for TD's and to top it off he had 1 forced fumble and a fumble recovery. The defense also held the Predator running attack to 58 yards on 17 carries while blocking two punts as well.

The Crusader offence sputtered a bit in there 1st couple possessions but got things rolling with Quarterback Aaron Gudex going 6 of 12 for 96 yards and 2 Td's one each to his wide outs, Courtney Gatlin and Rodney Ellison. When Aaron was getting his ankle re-taped his back up, Martin Ringeisen was in and added 57 yards thought the air and scored a TD via the pass as well to TE Dan Ketter. The rushing game added 71 tough yards. The Crusaders are now 2 and 1 on the IFL season.

Fond du Lac head on the road next week to take on the Spring City Cyclones at the Milwaukee Sports Complex with an 8pm start.
