Football is a part of life

August 28 , 2006 Ryan Chudada

Ryan Chudada grew up with the game of football, everywhere he turned he saw a constant reminder that he belonged to a football family.

"When I was young, I played with my brother and all of his friends. They were much older then me but who cares, I loved the game."

The games Ryan is referring to are the games that he and his brother played every weekend in the backyard playing tackle football with friends.

Just because Ryan was younger, that did not mean the guys took it easy on him.

"We played 100% all the time, even with Ryan playing and being 6 years younger than all of us" says Ryan's older brother Chris, "Looking back on it now that was probably really dangerous but I think it made him tougher today, because he really is a tough football player."

Ryan went on and played high school football at Waukesha North where he started at Guard, and also, he played in his brothers newly formed league called the Ironman Football League.

Even though Ryan was still in High school at the time, he still was able to play football on the same team with his brother in the IFL. Ryan has been playing in the league since its beginning in 1996, and still plays in the IFL for the Lake Country Cyclones.

Ryan has played various positions in his career always playing where the team needed him the most. He is not a selfish football player; he's always been a team guy. The thing that amazes a lot of people is how well Ryan is able to adapt to a new position and play it at a high level. Through out his career he has played Tight end, Defensive end, Linebacker and Safety.

In 2005, Ryan was voted onto the 2005 All-Star Team as a linebacker where he once again excelled at a new position.

Ryan hopes to have a long and successful career as a player and as a league administrator once his playing days are over.
