The Milwaukee Venom is currently extending an invitation to athletes 18 and older looking to demonstrate their football skills for a chance to make the team. The Venom are entering their ninth season in the IFL and play all home games at the Milwaukee Sports Complex in Franklin, WI. All tryouts will be conducted in the same manner as the Venom has been doing for basically the last decade. In Venom Country, the slate is wiped clean every year as players step up and down the depth charts. The Venom’s philosophy is simple; everyone battles everyone for starting positions!
Anyone interested in playing for this award-winning franchise must bring $50.00 to their first tryout/practice. This will cover players for all indoor practices and also be applied to their team dues upon earning a roster position. All indoor events will be held at the Milw. Co. Sports Complex located at 6000 W. Ryan Rd. If you are trying out for OFFENSE you must wear LIGHT colored shirts. If you are trying out for DEFENSE you must wear DARK colored shirts. All participants are encouraged to wear indoor basketball type attire.
Offense = Light (white, grey)
Defense = Dark (black, navy)
All Indoor dates will be on Saturdays and are as follows:
FEBURARY
- 13th 10:30am - 1pm
- 20th 10:30am - 1pm
- 27th 11:30am - 2pm
MARCH
- 6th 12:30pm - 3pm
- 20th 12:30pm - 3pm (helmets)
- 27th 12:30pm - 3pm (helmets and shoulder pads)
